HTML black book - By Steven Holzner

This book is a paradise for any web designer, be it a novice or an advanced one. The book contains information about all the tags used in the HTML and also about server side scripting and these are explained in simple and lucid language. Also, the author assumes no prior knowledge of HTML in any way.

The book has indepth explanation for presenting texts, images, tables, frames, incorporating multimedia in web pages, objects, style sheets etc. with illustrations. This book also gives conceptual knowledge about javascripts, java applets, XML, perl, CGI scripts etc., so that the user need not refer to any other book(s) for basic concepts of these.

The presentation of the book is systematic with arrangement of topics under the sections 'in depth' and 'immediate solution'. The latter can be used for reference purpose, since searching for a particular keyword becomes easy.

In my opinion, this book is a complete study and reference material for the web designers.
