I would like to suggest that the links to Haruki Satomi, Shuji Utsumi, and Yukio Sugino are removed since they just redirect back to the article. Either they get removed or articles about them should be created. I think they are significant enough for articles to be written about them, but I am not sure. Thoughts? A. They might be there because they had articles at one point and were later redirected here. I’d suggest delinking for now. I thought there was a bot that does this kind of stuff? Red Phoenix talk 15:36, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I see. These are {{interlanguage link}} templates. The idea behind them is to link to a relevant article in another language in case we don't have one in English. If notability can be demonstrated, it's possible we could create an article in English (noting that what's considered notable on another language's Wikipedia is not necessarily notable on the English Wikipedia). There are two ways we can fix this; one is to remove them all, and the other is to introduce them for the first use of each person's name in the body as well so it's not just in the infobox. The redirects aren't so much a MOS:CIRCULAR issue just because they're not plain redirects and are instead part of this template, unless someone else disagrees. Sega of America

[edit]

Sega of America was founded by Bruce Lowry (former Vice President of Nintendo of America) and he launched the Master System in the US and UK. 2600:8804:B82:7D00:E000:5F5B:1952:413F (talk) 19:09, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, it's mentioned in History of Sega, which is a more detailed account of Sega's history for reasons of balancing article length. It's also mentioned in Master System. Red Phoenix talk 23:05, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not so much as an "change" but an "add". If history serves me correctly I believe some facts need to be added for transparency. In 2000-2001 wherein SEGA was successfully sued by employees for the practice:"expulsion rooms"—also known as oidashi beya. I believe some back story and enlightenment would give way to some of the problems that sega and the black lash from customers not wanting to by games from them for their practice which played a huge role with them financially to the point Sega released an open public apology but what was done was done. Sources please? I’ve studied a lot of Sega over the years and never seen this. Any addition needs a citation to a reliable source. Red Phoenix talk 11:07, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. NotAGenious (talk) 11:43, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
