The result of the debate was - kept
Dicdef, nothing else of substance. - KeithTyler 19:58, Sep 20, 2004 (UTC)
- If this went, cartwheel would have to go too. Both these articles could do with some more work, but I don't think it does much harm to keep them. I believe they could potentially be expanded from mere dicdefs. Keep. Lacrimosus 22:16, 20 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Factual. Wile E. Heresiarch 13:46, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect to Gymnastics or something. This doesn't merit an article. Binadot 14:33, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect. Concur with Binadot. --Improv 19:13, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect to Gymnastics indeed. Very good suggestion. All the basic acrobatic moves should be there with at least this much detail. Geogre 01:46, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Just plain Keep; handstands are popular among non-gymnasts, especially children here in the U.S. You also see them in anime and such from time to time. - RedWordSmith 20:16, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Went ahead and made a few changes. - RedWordSmith 20:19, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Redirect to Gymnastics. SWAdair | Talk 07:51, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, wikipedia is not paper, breakouts are encouraged. There's probably plenty of things to write and illustrate about handstands. Kim Bruning 18:40, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, this could be expanded. If this was a computer-related topic of equal importance it would be kept in an instance :). *Does a handstand* Thue | talk 20:08, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I expanded it a bit -- it's a fundamental skill often heard of outside of gymnastics; I think it deserves an article of its own. Mindspillage 21:36, 25 Sep 2004 (UTC)
