Block no longer necessary
[edit]"{{unblock}}"
This IP address used to be a Tor node, but is no longer on the Tor directory, so could be unblocked. I have no plans to run a Tor node again. Furthermore, the node was actually never run as an exit node, meaning no edit's to Wikipedia could have originated from my IP address anyhow.
- I've listed this IP on Wikipedia:WikiProject on open proxies to confirm that. --Sam Blanning(talk) 22:57, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- I don't really see my IP address on that page, but perhaps didn't check back soon enough. Perhaps I am still an open proxy for some other reason.

[edit]Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you! John Reaves (talk) 00:03, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
