- See other entries on VfD for examples of how to vote against. Did you write the original article yourself? It still looks very much like an advert to me, because of the second-person references ("you") references and lack of anything indicating the club's notability (other than someone thinks it's a great place to stay). - Yeah, I wrote it myself. I can understand your POV about the way the article is written, so I will try to rewrite it at some point so it includes less 'its a great place to stay' references. I'm just wondering what else you can write about a yacht club apart from facts like their annual budget (which is not really interesting). Maybe I should just let this article be deleted, then recreate it from scratch (so that it is not marked for deletion) and condense everything I already wrote into 1 or 2 paragraphs? - Weak keep. Needs less POV, external links, user sigs, and fluff, but it appears to be the only yacht club honored by the king of Thailand, which seems mildly notable. Over 1000 hits for a yacht club in Thailand (mostly non-English speaking and only 10% Internet usage) seems like more than just an average tourist trap. Niteowlneils 20:33, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
