redundant
[edit]This page really seems quite redundant. Everything it mentions is already stated on the page Five elements (Chinese philosophy). 66.24.239.71 04:31, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm resurrecting this page as a pure disambiguation page. The duplicate info that made it look like Five elements (Chinese philosophy) should never have been added. Tattva does not belong here because there is no risk of confusion. — Joe Kress 07:54, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Gogyo inclusion
[edit]I have included the addition of Shinto link for Gogyo Five Elements. Zongqi (talk) 01:51, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
- There is no mention of Gogyo in Shinto at present and the only mention of five elements is in context of The Theory of Five Elements in Yin and Yang philosophy of Taoism. older ≠ wiser 01:56, 28 November 2020 (UTC)

Gogyo and the five elements. Zongqi (talk) 23:33, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- The linke Wikipedia article needs to describe the ambiguity of what is otherwise nothing more than a passing mention of a generic usage. older ≠ wiser 23:55, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
Yin and Yang theory is five elements. The cited publication makes reference to the history of Gogyo from the five elements. Zongqi (talk) 01:34, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- That's nice, but irrelevant for purposes of disambiguation. The linked Wikipedia article needs to describe the ambiguous usage. 01:52, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
