I also disagree with a merge into Monte Carlo as this is a detailed subtopic, and the main monte carlo article does not have room for this level of detail on every subtopic. - TaxmanTalk13:25, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with merge: the VEGAS algorithm is a particular algorithm that deserves its own article and can be discussed in detail, whereas Monte Carlo integration is a very general and broad topic. Althoug the Monte Carlo integration article currently has a detailed info on VEGAS, I rather think it should be detached and brought into this article. -- Ekjon Lok23:03, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
