Views on Christianity
[edit]I'd really like for this article to be expanded with Montefiore's views on Christianity given a section, as it played a big role in his scholarly fame and is no doubt interesting. Does anyone know of any good sources? I'm having trouble finding suitable ones. —Aiden 05:40, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

"Arrest" of the Reform Movement?
[edit]...he studied theology in Berlin, but finding himself unable to sympathize with the arrest of the Reform Movement,...
Granted, "arrest" has other meanings than that of police action, but, in my experience, only as a verb. Do you mean something like "arrested nature", stultification, unprogressive outlook, inertia...? Or were members / leaders of the movement actually arrested? (The last meaning doesn't seem to fit the sentence.) Koro Neil (talk) 03:58, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
