I removed the "music-importance" tag after contextualizing the entry and linking it up. I'm cleaning up a couple Prince-album entries that've been made recently. Mcsweet

Hi, I'm MarioSoulTruthFan and I'll be reviewing this article anytime in the next 4-5 days.
- Just a heads up, but this album was never given an actual "commercial" release, and with only a limited number of copies available, it was quite rare. Given that, there are very few sources available, at least from what I've seen. Carbrera (talk) 12:29, 18 June 2016 (UTC)
Infobox
[edit]- Needs alt. Done
- How do you know when it was recorded? Done
Lead
[edit]- Flawless.
Background and release
[edit]- Recording sessions for the parent album took place in Prince's hometown of Chanhassen, Minnesota, plus in California, New York, and London, England. → cite the studios as well. Done
- "Instead, the album was issued via mail through the NPG Music Club, an internet subscription service co-founded by Prince himself" → Instead, an internet subscription service co-founded by Prince, NPG Music Club, issued the album via mail through the NPG Music Club. Done
- In its only available edition, fourteen tracks appear on the album, with the majority of them being remixes or alternative versions of songs from Prince's previous album. → source? Done
- Add → Formats that the album was released. Done
Composition
[edit]- It seems to me a bit redundant having a ^"Songs" section, it's not like you talk about anything else. Remove it. Done
Songs
[edit]- unlike Chanhassen, Minnesota. Done
- Unlike the former album, Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic does not include "Segue" tracks, which were used to separate songs. → source? Done where is the soruce?
- I removed the "which were used to separate songs" statement... I'll add the liner notes reference anyway
- I'm pretty sure reference number 5 shouldn't be here or anywhere in this article. Done
- This and → The aforementioned track and Done
- I have no clue if it's their "untouched versions". The reference only has the original track list from the non remixed album. Not this one, you need two references one with the length of the first CD and other with the length of the remix album. Done
Track listing
[edit]- All songs written and produced by Prince. → Unlike Prince and All songs composed by Prince. Done
Credits and personnel
[edit]- Use " –" instead of "-" (click to edit to copy it properly) Done
Release history
[edit]- Fine.
References
[edit]- Needless to say it needs reliable sources, being Discogs not one of them. Replace it. Not done
Categories

Overall GA review
[edit]- On gold for seven days. Good luck 2 you. "Ping" me when you done. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:10, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

- @Carbrera: I'm sorry for being like this but the amazon link only has the CD, I need a source for the LP. That's some expensive CD! :O MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:36, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Turns out it never was released as an LP! I removed it. Carbrera (talk) 20:11, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
