Talk:Hugh Tanser Jarvis
Is this guy significant in any way? He returns no hits on Google, and the citation given sys only that he died and who his parents were (and the link to the father in this article returns a page about someone who lived on a different continent). Avocado 19:20, Apr 9, 2005 (UTC)
No, he is just a name and a link in the casualty list of the S/S Sauternes. My main reason to give him his own article, is to have somewhere to link to the War Graves Commission. And maybe also because I belong to the Scandinavian encyclopedia tradition, whith many short articles and many references, in contrast to the anglo-american tradition with fewer and longer articles. (But we are not running out of space, are we?) Now, if someone knows something more about this guy, they have somewhere to write it. And you are right, the link to the father was obviously wrong. abu ari Apr 10, 2005
