Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of stations of the Paris Métro
Appearance
This VfD refers to the above-named article, all articles to which it links with "(Paris Metro)" in their names, and probably most [[Special:Whatlinkshere/List_of_stations_of_the_Paris_M%E9tro|pages that link to it]]. —LarryGilbert 06:54, 2004 Apr 11 (UTC)
Rationale: This seems more like almanac material than encyclopedia material to me. Perhaps if every single stop on the Paris Metro had an interesting, several-paragraph-long history behind it, this would be worthwhile? —LarryGilbert 07:01, 2004 Apr 11 (UTC)
- For a previous discussion, see Talk:List_of_stations_of_the_Paris_Métro.
- Personally I'd keep the list, afterall there are many other of those (see List of metro systems) and, e.g. List_of_London_Underground_stations has many good stubs and excellent articles on many stations. I'd delete pages like Arts et Métiers (Paris Metro), currently still in its initial state, unless they are expanded into a mini-stub like Musée d'Orsay (Paris Metro). -- User:Docu

- Keep. Pointless relisting. No new arguments given for deletion. Perhaps some individual substubs could be deleted, but I doubt the value even of that. Andrewa 17:19, 11 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Mea culpa. I did not see that there was discussion on the talk page, nor did I realize this was VfD before. —LarryGilbert 20:27, 2004 Apr 11 (UTC)

- Keep. Remove from VfD as per Larry Gilbert's comment, above. Cribcage 06:52, 12 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Every metro stop has an interesting story. Someone just needs to come around and write it. BL 07:37, Apr 19, 2004 (UTC)
