User talk:Millisits
Hello Millisits, welcome to Wikipedia. You might like to start by reading the tutorial and introducing yourself at the new users page. For ideas of what to put on your user page, see Wikipedia:User page.
If you have any questions, you can ask at the help desk or on my talk page. Two useful tips are that you can sign your name using four tildes (~~~~) and you can preview your changes before you save using the show preview button. You can regularly find new tips on the Community Portal. I look forward to reading your great articles and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. :) Angela. 01:32, 18 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Hello Angela,
Thank you for your "welcome speech". I am a Hungarian lawyer. I wish I could be a useful member of the Wiki Community. Thank you for your future guidance in advance. Best regards
Hi. I've noticed you've contributed a lot of interesting information, especially about early automotive history, particularly in Europe, where Wikipedia previously didn't have much coverage. I've been working on developing a guide to follow up the tutorial, and would appreciate any feedback you might have, as I believe you currently fit in my intended audience; that is, you've mastered the basic Wiki formatting/markup to edit existing articles, covered in the Tutorial, and are now ready to create new articles, but are new to Wikipedia and aren't yet familiar with the standard style guidelines. Anyway, it's just a rough start (that's why it is still in my user namespace), but it would be great if you could take a look at the three pages I have made so far, and let me know if it's helpful, if parts are unclear, etc. The pages are linked from User:Niteowlneils/Guide outline. Niteowlneils 21:17, 20 Jun 2004 (UTC) PS I will be notified I have a new message if you leave any reply on my "Talk" page.
Hi Millisits
My welcome also to Wikipedia. I notice that the text you have added in Fend Flitzer appears to have been copied from the web site you link to. Since Wikipedia is released under the GNU Free Documentation License we cannot include copyrighted work. Please see Wikipedia:Copyright problems for more details. Hi DJ Clayworth,
I am sorry, you are right. I want to avoid any copyright problems, so I rewrite this article in a minute. Millisits
Excellent. However please notice that we have to delete the copyright violation from the article's history. Please follow the instructions on the page for where to create a new version - if you just edit what is there, then what you write will have to be deleted along with the original. DJ Clayworth 17:51, 22 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Hi DJ Clayworth,
Thank you for good news. The only question is when and where can I add the modified non-violating version.Thanks. Millisits

[edit]Hi Millisits - to help improve the internal linking of the encyclopedia, you might like to place your articles in the Category scheme. Just add the following tag to the bottom of the page when you're writing it:
- for car manufacturing companies
- for brands or models of car
Cheers --Rlandmann 22:24, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)

You can't move Hodmezovasarhely to a title that contains accents, since for certain characters, the title is corrupted. Thanks Dysprosia 08:54, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Hi Dysprosia,
I have noticed myself this problem. Hodmezovasarhely is a Hungarian city and the correct Hungarian form is Hódmezővásárhely. I think the Hungarian form should be the title of the article and the form without diacritical signs should be left for redirecting.
Regards, --Millisits 12:14, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- I know, but the problem is the ő will become corrupted in the article name, since we are not set up to handle Unicode yet. Dysprosia 20:27, 27 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Hi Dysprosia,
Thanks, I understand clearly.

Hi, Millisitis. Thank you for translating Dahomey into Hungarian. I would like to invite you to join Translation of the Week and to suggest Hungarian articles that can be the source of our translation efforts. Thanks. Danny 14:46, 31 Oct 2004 (UTC)
Article Licensing
[edit]Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 1000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
- Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered
- Multi-Licensing Guide
- Free the Rambot Articles Project
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)

[edit]You were listed in the Wikipedia:Wikipedians/Hungary page as living in or being associated with Hungary. As part of the Wikipedia:User categorisation project, these lists are being replaced with user categories. Important WikiProject Automobiles Discussion
[edit]Hello! As a Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles member, I just thought you might want to input your opinions on an important discussion we're currently having about whether articles regarding similar vehicles should be merged into one or split by brand. If you would like to comment or read further, please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Automobiles#Articles of Similar Vehicles. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and feedback. Wikiproject Automobiles Notification
[edit]Hi Millisits, you were on the list of members at WikiProject Automobiles and we are introducing a new way of listing members, as the old list was becoming too long. Our new method involves having all of our members in a category.
To add yourself to the category just add the userbox to your user page by putting Wiki Auto Project where you want the userbox. Alternatively if you don't like the userbox you can add to your userpage.
If you no longer wish to be a member of the project, simply don't add the userbox or category, there's no pressure. Thanks for your time, James086Talk | Contribs 04:13, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A cup of tea for you!
[edit]Thank you for all these old, obscure automobile manufacturers. Genuine thanks, even if you have not made an edit since I was just born in 2004. Even if you are not on Wikipedia after all of these years, thank you. Norkeys (talk) 06:40, 27 March 2020 (UTC) |
