I have left Wikipedia. If this fact produces any strong feelings in you that you would like to express to me, please do so here.
I agree that there is too much anarchy on here. The policies are not enforced strictly or consistently enough. From what i've seen of your contributions and dialogue, I think it is unfortunate for wikipedia that you are leaving. Kevin Baas | talk 21:04, 2004 Aug 23 (UTC)
No! Please don't go. You are a valuable contributor here. Take a Wikibreak, but please don't go! [[User:Neutrality|Neutrality (talk)]] 00:22, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Alas, I can't say that I blame you. VV 09:21, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Best wishes. uc 18:02, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)
I'm uncertain whether to sympathize with your frustrations (Wikipedia can be frustrating) or offer suggestions on how to deal with them (with some patience and perspective, I still find Wikipedia a worthwhile project I can have hope in). So I will just say that I appreciate your many and diligent contributions, and wish you well in your academic career and anything else you pursue. Whether you come back or not, you are a valued member of our community, and I hope you at least still plan to send some of your students our way as you suggested on the mailing list. --Michael Snow 03:01, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)
