Mathematics problem
[edit]this is a fascinating math problem, that could be generalized in any number of ways. if i find any mathematics papers that relate to this idea, and mention bacon numbers, i will add them. did Erdoes write any math papers that relate to problems like this? 66.80.6.163 (talk) 22:37, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Not by Erdoes, but there's this academic paper from 2007. JezGrove (talk) 22:13, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
Rules of the game
[edit]I have questions about whether the following productions count: Animated films, documentaries, direct-to-video releases, TV movies, and TV shows. When I play Six Degrees, I limit myself to theatrical releases (including animations like Balto). Mewtwowimmer (talk) 19:09, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Wikilinks
[edit]Wikipedia is highly linked with many pages having many links to other pages so I would like to know whether any page can be reached from any other page by the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon Wikilinks. Or at least does Wikipedia itself obey Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. 194.207.86.26 (talk) 12:27, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
removing section
[edit]I removed the section titled "Center of the Hollywood Universe." The first paragraph was entirely sourced to this "oracle of Bacon" site, rather than any reliable sources. The second paragraph drifts into general ideas about the popularity of celebrities and how this can be measured, which appears to be beyond the scope of this article.--~TPW 18:44, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
