First album to feature Schmit?
[edit]The album article does not in any way mention that this was the first album to feature Timothy B. Schmit and the first without Randy Meisner.
Surely a significant lineup change in the band's history is worthy of a mention. The other articles mention lineup changes, so should this one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eaglesfan8881 (talk • contribs) 21:02, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
King of Hollywood
[edit]I remember seeing the CD of The Long Run and reading inside that King of Hollywood had 3 guitar solos played by Frey, Felder and Walsh. I remember that there was a specific sequence. Does anybody know who played first, second and third? It would be nice to mention it in this article.

Please change “Don Felder wrote he tune for” to “Don Felder wrote the tune for” because the word “the” is misspelled Also Please change “Henly also wrote the lyrics“ to “Henley also wrote the lyrics“ because the spelling is wrong. 87.138.78.162 (talk) 04:18, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
Inaccurate information about Timothy B Schmit and Randy Meisner and missing information about Joe Walsh.
[edit]The information stating that Timothy B Schmit replaced Randy Meisner is inaccurate, Timothy replaced Bernie Leadon as the Bassist. Joe Walsh replaced Randy Meisner on guitar. Timothy DOES carry many of the high range VOCALS that Randy contributed, but the information I just gave is much more accurate and includes Joe Walsh who was integral in both the Hotel California and The Long Run albums, missing information from this article. In the City
[edit]Hi I am trying to add an edit in the track listing section concerning the song: In the City. I’d like to add the precision that it is a Joe Walsh cover, since Joe Walsh released it as a solo artist a few months prior to release it with the Eagles. “Various Coconut Grove” studios should actually say Criteria studios. Almost all of the Eagles work in south Florida was done at Criteria Studios. I studied under Eddie Mashal and had a internship at Criteria. Eddie worked on the Long Run album directly under Eagles producer/ Engineer Bill Szymczyk. Eddies also worked on Hotel California and other albums at Criteria as well. I am not guessing , I have this in first hand knowledge. Wrong link to "Liner Notes" (note n°27): reported "One Of These Nights Album" rather than "The Long Run"
[edit]Under "Personnel" paragraph there is [[1]], while the correct link is [[2]]. The first link is related to "One Of These Nights Album", which is not the matter of this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.13.29.81 (talk) 15:20, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
