- First, because nobody has registered any complaints. Second, because the 3RR is only applied in cases of POV reversion: vandalism generally doesn't count. If you want to complain about his behavior, by all means post to Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR, and state a case. – ClockworkSoul 18:43, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
POV reversion? I think that's an apt description of his edits, not Trey's. "Left-wing" my ass. De-Chomskidize 21:09, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Death squad
[edit]- If you want to change some of another editor's changes, don't just revert the whole article (especially when your Edit summary implies that you agreed with some of the edits you're reverting).
- If you think that anything that I did added a PoV rather than removing one, please explain on the Talk page. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 22:05, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Simply adding a nomic Edit summary doesn't explain or justify the whole-sale reversion of my edits (which included the addition of many internal links and corrections of grammar and style, as well as the removal of PoV material). I've still seen nothing that indicates why you consider the vast majority of what you changed to have been wrong. Until I get such an explanation, and have been able to discuss it with you on the Talk page, I shall continue taking the article back to what I believe to be a much improved (though still improveable) version. Socialism
[edit]Americans may think of the Soviet Union first when they think of socialism but the British, for instance, don't. Please don't generalise from your own experience. AndyL 22:39, 19 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- That does not change the fact that when I am talking about the SOCIALIST BLOC from Schafik Handal's perspective, it is SOVIET AND CUBAN-style socialism. Goddammit. De-Chomskidize 04:08, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I was referring to your alteration in the socialism article which you explained by saying "most people" think of the USSR first when they think of socialism. This certainly isn't the case in, say, France where I suspect people would think of the French Socialist Party first. Goddamit. AndyL 04:14, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Well goddammit you're still wrong. Why would they have to specify _democratic_ socialism if it was naturally democratic. that's what I thought. De-Chomskidize 04:16, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)
When did the Socialist Party of France and the Socialist Party of Spain change their names to Democratic Socialist? I was unaware of this development. AndyL 04:57, 20 Mar 2005 (UTC)
