[edit]The Albert Hill who won the VC at Delville Wood in 1916 is definately not the same person as Albert George hill who won two Olympic Gold medals in 1920.
The VC winner lived in Denton Lancashire for a time and worked in a hat factory. He emigrated to America and died in 1972 and is buried in Rhode Island. Any correspondence would be welcome at joehorsfield57@hotmail.com
