Crap. I made a mistake. I moved this page here, but his first name isn't Edwin. I got him confused with E.A. Burtt whose first name really is Edwin. --Firefly322 (talk) 14:06, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi
I am requesting an edit in the form of an image correction on the article of EA Milne.
Image on wikimedia:
Caption: HN Russell (left) with EA Milne (right), 1939. This photograph was given by Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar to Meg Weston-Smith and is not licensed.
As a relative of the late EA Milne I can confirm he is not featured in this photograph currently on his wiki page. In fact, he is not at all featured amongst the set of men in the photograph. The man actually featured appears to be AA Milne. This is a different person. I am attaching a photograph of the real EA Milne (as featured in the book written by Mag Weston-Smith, his daughter) and would appreciate if you could please update this.
The photo features another prominent American astronomer 'HN Russell' along with EA Milne.
Many thanks, Carmen

- I've removed the image (Image:Poetgroup.jpg). The image's own data page confirms what the COI editor has stated, that the individual in the photograph is not Edward Arthur Milne, but rather, Alan Alexander Milne. The erroneous image was added to the English version of this article 2 years ago by Lotje, though the image has been mistakenly used in sister Wikipedia project articles on EA Milne since long before that — the Low German version for example, since January 2008. Those versions will all need to have the image removed. The image originally came from the collection of Ralph Hodgson and Aurelia Bolliger Hodgson's papers housed at Bryn Mawr. Many thanks to the COI editor for catching this 11-year-running mistake.
