Involvement with SOPA as a Lobbyist
[edit]Should this section: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Dodd#Post-senatorial_career include his recent forays with promoting SOPA for industry?
For example he's been caught lying for the MPAA here: http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20111214/04100017081/chris-dodd-resorting-to-outright-lying-desperate-attempt-to-get-sopa-passed.shtml

Biased or unsubstantiated statement about Sen. Christopher Dodd
[edit]I was just casually reading the page about retired U.S. Sen. Christopher Dodd, when I read this sentence:
"Dodd was a notorious alcoholic and serial philanderer, joining fellow New England Irish Catholic Senator Edward Kennedy in well-publicized debauchery and lechery."
If I'm not mistaken, that sentence is contains biased and/or unsubstantiated statement about the Sen. Dodd, and should be removed or backed up with other documents proving that statement.

Dodd-Frank Bill?
[edit]Shouldn't the Dodd-Frank bill be mentioned on this page? It was a significant piece of legislation and is a major part of Chris Dodd's legacy. ChunyangD (talk) 02:14, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
Restaurant incident
[edit]There appears to be a non-zero amount of coverage of an incident in the 1980s that allegedly involving Dodd and Ted Kennedy. To what extent should this be mentioned in the article? DS (talk) 16:39, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Is Sexual Assault appropriate as a "Subsequent activity"
[edit]This is unusual framing - does Senator Dodd list Sexual Assault as a hobby on his cv?
Dodd-Frank and the U.S. Opioid Epidemic
[edit]Shouldn't the Dodd Frank bill be mentioned in the U.S. Senate tenure section? Also isn't his involvement in the Opioid epidemic through his connections to Purdue Pharma reported widely enough to be added to his controversies section? (I know the later my be a bit slanted towards recent events but still...) Roan Asher (talk) 13:40, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- I'm surprised and disappointed that Dodd Frank is only included in this article as a "see also" link. Yes, there should be prose about it. You can WP:BEBOLD and add it, or eventually I will. As for Purdue Pharma, what connections are there? I am not aware, but we can follow the WP:RS wherever they lead. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:41, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- Also, WP:CONTROVERSYSECTIONS impair NPOV and should not exist. Info should be shifted around to their appropriate sections. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:45, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
