This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. This page is about a politician who is running for office or has recently run for office, is in office and campaigning for re-election, or is involved in some current political conflict or controversy. For that reason, this article is at increased risk of biased editing, talk-page trolling, and simple vandalism. |

Assessment
[edit]I have assessed this as Start Class, as it contains more detail and organization than would be expected of a Stub, although it requires more referencing and in-line citations. I have assessed this as low importance, as I do not feel that many people outside of Canada would be familiar with the subject of the article. Cheers, CP 15:20, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Focus on Hampton
[edit]A good deal of the article speaks about the NDP, and not Howard Hampton. I propose the information regarding the current number of seats, by-elections, etc. be removed. --70.53.20.236 (talk) 22:20, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
